IN FOND MEMORIES OF A SJA ENGLISH TEACHER IN THE EARLY '60s

Dr. Shak Portrait courtesy of Ms. Mary

~ O B I T U A R Y ~

Regret to inform you all that our former English teacher - Dr. Theresa Shak Wai Han (石慧嫻博士) had passed away peacefully on March 21, 2010 at the age of 78 in Lourdes - France. Dr. Shak was admitted to the hospital in France the next day after her birthday on March 18. Her ashes were now located at St. Michael Cemetery in Happy Valley together with her mother. Although Dr. Shak only taught in our School for a very short period of time, guess many old boys should well remember her tender face in the attached portrait.

A Memorial Mass as organised by Ms Mary and a couple of good friends of Dr. Shak will be held on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception (Caine Road). The Rev. John B. Tsang (曾慶文神父) will preside at the Mass.

May her soul rest in peace forever!

Thank you all for the kind attention.

God bless
James '67
